FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE

There’s no better time then now.
I was walking with a friend in Hampton Park the other day, and we were discussing how happy we are to be in Charleston. I began to think, more specifically about how Charleston as a whole has become my Happy Place and what makes it so.
Charleston is a stellar city with abundant activities to enjoy - be it boating the many winding waterways, dining at the best eateries in the country, or strolling through the old picturesque neighborhoods. I’m convinced there is something for everyone to love in the Holy City.
Time To Buy

Whether you currently live here now, or are planning to move to the area. What better time to buy than now? Mortgage rates are the lowest they have ever been, and it looks like those rates are here to stay for a while. Since we are all spending more time in our own spaces, there may not be a better window to finally get your dream spot.
What’s keeping you from making your move to your Happy Place?
As a Charlestonian, I personally have neighborhoods and activities I enjoy in the city and its surroundings. I believe now is a great time for all of us to examine what we want out of life, where we want to be, and what will make us happy.
If you do this introspection and feel your Happy Place is in Charleston - the time is now to make your move.
Time To Sell
Should you take advantage of a hot market? Yes!
For the sellers, I know you have been working on home projects all year to include everything from gardening to renovations. I suspect that homes are in the best shape of their history since we have been able to give them the love they deserve.
So why not sell your home, and find that spot you have been wanting. Maybe that spot is a neighborhood you have always loved walking through. Maybe you have wanted a spot with water views. Beach life anyone?
Time To Move
For those moving into Charleston from other areas, what brought you here? Do you want nature? Was it the small city vibes? Are you comfortable in new development?
Don’t settle for a maybe when it comes to finding your home.
Are you drawn to the Charleston charm of South of Broad, or do you want something with land and water, like Wadmalaw Island? Find a realtor who is willing to take you around, and work with you to find your dream spot - your Happy Place.
There is something for everyone in this town, but my point is to take active steps towards finding your Happy Place - whatever that may be for you. Take control of your situation, and use it for the betterment of your life.
Low interest rates and strong home sales do not last forever. We can always ask, “what's on the horizon”, but sometimes inaction gets us stuck in a rut with our future outlook becoming dimmer.
Be that change you want, find your happiness, stay focused on your goals. Make it happen for yourself!
Remember partnering with a realtor that understands what you want, when you want it, and how you want to get there is so important. I find when I’m looking for an expert, I want someone who will guide me, show me the good, bad, and ugly, and allow me to make the final decision. Find that realtor who will help you, the way you want to be helped to find your Happy Place.
