MEET WIL YORK

For Wil York, real estate is a family business. Surrounded by generations of commercial and residential real estate professionals, he was raised on stories of (literally) building Charlotte, NC into the budding southern metropolis it is today. 

 

Drawn to relationship-driven industries, Wil made his way to Charleston in 2002 and started his lowcountry living as the Kiawah Island Club’s Food & Beverage Manager. 

 

After 13 years, Wil had an epiphany during yet another glowing annual review when his boss commented on how “he should go into real estate” because of his calm demeanor, creative thinking, and poise under pressure. 

 

So he did. Five years later, Wil is an established residential realtor with Carolina One Real Estate proudly serving both buyers and sellers across the Greater Charleston Area. 

 

Bringing a patient, thoughtful and strategic approach to the booming Charleston real estate market, Wil believes each and every person has a dream - his job is to find out what it is and put you there. 

 

Whether you are a first-time home buyer or looking for sanctuary from out of state, his mission is to help you get what you want with what you have. 

 

In addition to staying on the pulse of market trends and local developments, Wil is actively pursuing his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) certification along with Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations. 

 

When he is not neck deep in all things Charleston real estate, you may find Wil enjoying classic vinyl (750 records and counting), sharing a local brew with friends, or slowly strolling through Hampton Park with his wife, Emily, and furbaby Otis.
